The only con about the FemLar surgery that raised a red flag for me was the part about loss in volume. I'm a male that is comfortable with being a male but I just feel that my voice is too low and wish it were higher. As in a lot higher. Sort of in the countertenor kind of range. As of now, my voice is hard to get loud and I am accustomed to having to repeat myself when speaking across a room which is why I don't want my voice to get any quieter than it is now. I know that higher pitches carry better anyways so that might come to my advantage a little bit but aside from that, will there be any way of training my "new" voice to be very loud in terms of sound energy independently?
