Laryngeal recordings: Spasmodic dysphonia

The following is a passage that I have patients read in order to listen to their conversational speech. You may listen to the following to see if you can hear some of the interruptions.

ABductor Spasmodic dysphonia

Female reading a passage called Man’s First Boat. Whispering type spasms of abductor spasmodic dysphonia are evident at several locations. The /a/ sound in ago, man, water, & land demonstrate the spasms most clearly.
