Gazette
A yearly missive written by James P. Thomas and now family. I started writing while in college, later taping photos into blank spots as I began page layout on a typewriter. Eventually, I found a mainframe during residency that could print in columns. Then the Mac came out. I compared a PC to a Mac and picked the Mac with Adobe PageMaker. The Gazette became a booklet. Color was a potential, but not really because of cost. In 2001, I printed the booklet myself rather than photocopy it and was able to use color for the first time. Hopefully the essence of the booklet and now the online version is a combination of writing and photography that capture a life and now a family.
