My Favorite Things

This year I joined a gymnastics team. The meets are fun because you get to do lots of stuff like beam, bars, vault and floor. My favorite events are bars and floor. I like bars because you can do stuff that I love to do like going on the high bar, doing squat-ons and other stuff. I like floor because I am really good at it. I practice front limbers and back walkovers every day at home as well as at practice.

I have been to two meets so far, at Westside and Sunburst gymnastics. At my second meet I did my long hand pullover and that made me get a really high score – 8.35.

This year I met a friend in Italy and her name was Marta. I met her on Halloween, while we were staying in Camogli. I was doing dismounts and the beam routine with Sydney by the beach. She was watching us do them and then she tried to do them. She was very good. My daddy came up and helped us say hello because we didn’t speak any Italian. We taught her how to play tag and we had fun. The next morning we were playing on the beach and my mommy was standing up on the boardwalk. Marta asked my mommy where we were. We were down on the beach so she came down and saw us. She went back to her house to tell her mom where we were. She got dressed in a swimsuit. We played on the beach doing gymnastics and we looked for rocks. I got covered up with lots of cold rocks. We brought home about a hundred rocks. We are going to make a stepping stone with Italian rocks. The end.
