Wine & cheese

by Jim & Susan

A new found hobby, I’d thought I’d share a few recommendations.
  • Best value red
    • Jim: Monte Antico 1995 - a Tuscan Red Table wine - Italy
  • Best buy white
    • Susan: Lindemans Bin 65 Chardonnay 1998 - Australia
  • Favorite grape
    • Jim: Shiraz
    • Susan: Chardonnay
  • Favorite cheeses
    • Blue: Forme d’Ambert - France
    • Soft ripened: Le Chatelaine - a Camembert from Normandy, France (make sure you have someplace to store this if your spouse has a sensitive nose - tastes like wild mushrooms - smells like milk you spilled on the carpet last month
    • Sheep: Pecorino Tuscano - Another Tuscan entry (Tuscany is in Italy)
    • Goat: Le Chevrot - fresh goat from Loire, France
  • Favorite nut
    • Hazelnut
  • Favorite fruit
    • Bosc Pear
