The Extended Family Vacation

When the blackflies left Algonquin Provincial Park in July, three generations of Susan’s family rented cabins on a clear blue lake with vistas of rolling hills. I escorted sister-in-law Sharon on a wilderness canoe passage seeking out Moose and Peace. Some went for golf, cycling or hiking. We all left as friends so as family visits go it was a tremendous success. I also took up watercolor painting while on the trip, thus finding another way to consume my time.
