Interviewing …

another fish story.

Susan's brain

What to wear, how to act, when to ask a question. There seem to be many different talents required of the potential employee. We’ve dined on fine wines, eaten lobster, looked at 200,000 dollar homes shown by anxious real estate agents. We’ve whiled hours away on jets and in airport terminals. We’ve debated size of towns, climate, location to an airport, distance from family, a job for each of us in the same town.

But if it all came down to the size fish caught then we would be living up north next year. Susan bagged a 17 pound jack Salmon and didn’t stop there. The following day she reeled in a 70 pound Halibut. We’ve eaten it, given it to friends and hosted fish bakes. We still have salmon and halibut in the freezer and it’s still good.
