Mr. Stephens has been a great sufferer of rheumatism and has been confined to his home 36 years. He was formerly of Cambridge, having moved to Baltimore three years ago. He is survived by his wife who before marriage was Miss Isabelle Thomas and a half-brother Mr. George Marvel of East New Market and eight children; James B., Henry G., Fred W., and Oliver W., of Cambridge, Mrs George Sellers, Mrs George Blades, Ida L. Stephens of Baltimore, Mrs James Slacum of Cambridge. The funeral services will be held at the home of his daughter, Mrs. James Slacum, 11 Light Street, this city, at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon.
